I got W.
1. Walking on Sunshine by Katrina and the Waves: I suppose you can't get more 80's than this. Total pop, had a good beat, and who couldn't feel happy when listening to this? And all from a song about a woman who was waiting to hear from a guy who loved her. I would imagine anyone could understand this.
2. We Built This City by Starship: A song that I have read was chosen as the worst song of the 80's, having come from a band that evolved from Jefferson Airplane back in the 60's. Members Grace Slick and Paul Kantner were still around, although Paul jumped ship at this point, not liking the way music was going - originally, they wrote songs that made political and/or social statements. Personally, its a good song, and I like it.
3. While My Guitar Gently Weeps by George Harrison: I've only really listened to this song starting a few months ago. I don't really have too much to say about it, but I really like the version that Paul and Eric Clapton did for the Concert for George.
4. Woo Hoo by the 5.6.7.8's : Not much to the song, really. Became popular because of the movie Kill Bill, then Vonage used it for their commercials and drove it into the ground. It's just a fun song, period.
5. White Rabbit by Jefferson Airplane: Grace Slick said she wrote this song as a response to parents who were asking why children took drugs. Personally, I just like it.
